Big Snow!

Big Snow! by Teckelcar
Big Snow!, a photo by Teckelcar on Flickr.
I'm going to leave this here with just the facts.

Snow fall started at roughly 3:40 pm.
This picture was taken at about 10:40 pm.
It is now a mixed bag of snow and sleety stuff falling from the sky.
There is no school tomorrow and most likely none on Friday.
The kids are out of their minds.

The predicted high on Friday is 44.

Welcome to central Virginia.

That's almost more than we've had at one time here in Milwaukee (we have a lot of snow on the ground, but we got it two inches at a time, with snow almost every day). The whopper storms have passed south of us, dumping on Kenosha and Racine.

Yay for four day weekends! But boo to having to make up the days, if they do.

We have already lost President's day and a couple of half days have been switched to full days. It will be interesting to see what the school system does with the latest closures.
