Diane hit the nail on the head, the lemon loaf is just begging to be paired with strawberries.
The lemon flavor has deepened considerably since I baked it on Tuesday. However, the cake is still very dry. Strawberries and cream are a wonderful addition and nicely overcome the dryness.

LOL - I'm not a genius, I just like the whole sweet-tart thing. Lemon and strawberry are my two favorite flavors, so why not combine them?
The lemon flavor did continue to get stronger over time, which I hear is a characteristic of pound cake as well, that it really needs time to "ripen".
I've not looked at the actual recipes for next month, but pecan sticky buns sounds right up my alley!
