I was in that unit for 6 years back in the 90's. The drops were a big deal back then too. Sadly some of the islanders had adopted a rather entitled attitude over time and would complain about the content of the loads. And then there was the time we dropped the stuff in the wrong clearing and some Japanese tourists got it all. THAT was all over the local papers...
